Gayle is Gayle, Never can beat him !!

That's the wonder when Bangalore's pitch reacted to the pinch hitter Chris Gayle. Gayle's lone hand began with uncharacteristic reticence, as the Mumbai seam bowlers, led by Mitchell Johnson, found bounce and movement on the grassy Chinnaswamy Stadium surface that had compelled Ricky Ponting to bowl first. The six Powerplay overs saw the fall of two batsmen and yielded only 31 runs, with Gayle having made four of those, from 10 deliveries. In fact it was not until the ninth over that Gayle showed any aggressive intent, when he clipped Jasprit Bumrah through the leg side, before clearing his leg and drilling a full delivery into the sightscreen, next ball.
He rarely eased up thereafter though, hitting 11 fours and five sixes in his innings, as his teammates continued to flounder around him. Pollard came in for conspicuous punishment in the 11th over, disappearing for 15, never to see the bowling crease again, while Munaf Patel's final over went for 16.
The game, though, wasn't just a nostalgia-fest. Gayle is currently the world's most sought-after Twenty20 batsman, and the sight of him smiting sixes out of the Chinnaswamy is as sure a sign that summer has arrived in Bangalore as the rising temperatures. Over the past couple of years, his fanbase has expanded as quickly as his wallet, and he duly delivered what the expectant faithful turned up for. Even though he was hobbling on one leg for much of his innings, he produced another hour-and-a-half of casual destruction, including an incredible six off Munaf Patel, when he shifted his weight onto the back foot but still managed to power the ball over long-on.

How Jasprit Bumrah Differ from Others?

When the Cricket Legend, Sachin Tendulkar gives the cap of Mumbai Indian's to Jasprit Bumrah, his face covers with bravery. He realize that the mission is possible. however, Virat Kohli and Chris Gayle are the warriors against him. But Jasprit Bumrah never afraids. He bowled with full arm and short run. Take the wickets, with new bowling action, and revealed the key weapon of Ricky Ponding. That's what we called the clear cut youngster who will cut all the apple faces of IPL. Jasprit Jasbirsingh Bumrah (born 6 December 1993 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India) is an Indian right-arm medium-fast bowler who playscricket for Gujarat and the Mumbai Indians

Earlier, Bumrah was given the ball by Ponting to bowl the fifth over of the innings. It was a nervous start as a short and widish first ball was easily sent to the boundary by RCB skipper Virat Kohli. Same result next ball as well and a delivery later another four followed from Kohli's bat. After watching his first four balls, one would have thought he would be easy meat for batsmen on that night. But it was not to be. After that nervous beginnings, it was Bumrah who was shining brightly under the floodlights. In his first over itself (fifth ball), he dismissed Kohli LBW with a ball that pitch outside off and came back sharply. Next over first ball, Bumrah had Mayan Agarwal caught by Sachin Tendulkar at mid-off. In his third over, he was up against Chris Gayle and the West Indian put him away for a four and six. Fourth and final over of Bumrah produced another wicket with LBW dismissal of Karun Nair. A night that began on a bad note ending brilliantly. Bumrah finished with figures of 3/32 and won praise from all. Later, it was known that the right-arm paceman was signed by Mumbai just before one week to the start of IPL. The main man behind Bumrah's entry to IPL was Mumbai coach John Wright, who had watched the youngster during Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy T20 tournament.

Hottest Player of IPL 2013 Sunil Narine

Who is the hottest player of the Indian Premier League 2013 which started April 3rd at Salt Lake, the answer and my vote is for Sunil Narine, an off spinner, caught the selectors' attention by taking all ten wickets in a trial match and received a call up to the Trinidad and Tobago squad in January 2009. Check his hairstyle and the face when he get a wicket, just like Chris Gayle. Sunil, the former West Indies Under-19 player, Narine made his first-class debut against Leeward Islands but took no wickets in his 13 overs.

He had not represented Trinidad and Tobago in any form of limited-overs cricket but was included in the squad for the inaugural Champions League Twenty20 in India in 2009. However, there were doubts raised over his action during the Caribbean T20 in 2011, and he worked with bio-mechanical experts at the University of Western Australia in Perth to change it. The new action was even more effective, as opposition batsmen found out in the Champions League 2011: he was an outstanding success in the tournament, taking ten wickets at an average of 10.50 and an economy rate of 4.37. He made his ODI debut in India as well, on the 2011-12 tour. He hit the jackpot in the 2012 IPL auction, attracting a bid of $700,000 from Kolkata Knight Riders, which he keep the promise to King Khan, take 4/14. What a bowling?

Narine had played a pivotal role in Knight Riders' victorious season in 2012, and his variations were just as confounding for the batsmen. David Warner was baffled by a sharp offspinner that he edged to slip, West Indies team-mate Andre Russell was caught napping against a doosra, and Irfan Pathan holed out playing a flighted delivery to the hands of long-off.

Jayawardene, however, looked in control, adapting expertly to the approach the pitch demanded, restraining himself from playing expansive shots to rely on touch-play, all the while remaining fluent at one end. Lee was upper-cut over slips, Bhatia and L Balaji were steered through the off side before Lee returned for a final spell to be pulled for six, though, again, with more politeness than venom. Jayawardene helped stretch the score to 128 with a late surge, but Bhatia and Balaji, who bowled eight overs together, conceded 43 and picked up two wickets, had played an excellent containing role with their medium-pace and unsettling cutters before that.
